14th May 2026 – Join us as we celebrate the publication of 2 fabulous new Robin Ince Books.
Event to be held in St John the Baptist, Timberhill – Opposite Bookbugs & Dragon Tales from 7pm to 9pm (ish)
Normally Weird and Weirdly Normal : My Adventures in Neurodiversity – This book was an incredible success and many of you will have joined us last year when it was 1st published in hardback. It’s published in paperback on 30th April 2026 giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy this incredible and important look into neurodiversity.
Let the Quiet Ones Rise : Poems about standing up and standing out – Anyone who follows Robin on social media or have seen him perform will know that his poetry holds no bars. Robin is a fierce ally of the trans community and believes passionately in the freedom to protest, he won’t bow to the established media narrative on these subjects and calls out injustice where he sees it. He was calling out misogyny, abuse and hypocrisy, particularly in the entertainment industry long before anyone would listen.
Robin recently chose to stand by his values, under pressure to drop his support for marginalised communities on his own social media, he quit his role in the long running science show that he created in 2009″The Infinite Monkey Cage” with all the perks that came with. A position that, regardless of your politics, has to be admired.
The evening will follow a similar format to our event last year. Leanne and Robin will chat. With a little more poetry for sure! A little break for a drink or 2 and time for questions. Leanne is on her own ADHD journey and brings a unique perspective to the conversation.
Options available for Book & Ticket (£20) with the book at a discount. Or both books + Ticket (£30). Robin will be happy to sign and dedicate after the event.
Robin recently sold out the Playhouse Theatre in Norwich so we’re delighted to be able to offer our customers the opportunity to see him here.
You order receipt IS your ticket. You will not received anything in the post.
