This is a retelling of a traditional African myth, which has been shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal. There was a time when all the animals were friends: the antelope, the leopard, the zebra, the lion, the elephant and the human-kind. They also all loved honey. They would follow the honey-guide bird in procession. Honey it was, though, that one day led the animals to quarrel.
