A year-long restoration project for a historical conservation group sees a gang of builders restore a group of three eighteenth century cottages in Norfolk that were badly damaged by a fire. During the year-long contract the lives of the builders involved are followed. Their stories of life and the challenges that face them both at home and at work place.
