Genevieve has finally escaped the stressful demands of her sales job and achieved her dream: to live on a houseboat in Kent. Just as she starts her new life, the dream is shattered when a body washes up beside the boat, the bruised face of her friend Caddy. Unable to admit she knows Caddy from fear of revealing her stripper past, and trying to protect her lover Dylan, Genevieve is trapped. As the sanctuary of the boatyard is threatened and her life seems increasingly at risk, the story of how she came to be so out of her depth is revealed in a dramatic conclusion.
